Parents Spend Their Baby's Last Night at Home

During Charlotte's 20th week pregnancy scan, she and her husband Attila were given the devastating news that their baby had a debilitating chromosome abnormality.

Despite receiving devastating news about their baby's chromosome abnormality, first-time parents Charlotte and Attila were eager to welcome their bundle of joy. However, things didn't go smoothly after Baby Evlyn was born. Weighing only 5 pounds and 5 ounces, she had to be connected to a ventilator immediately.

"As a parent, the last thing you want is for your child to be sick. Even after doctors told us that our baby would probably never breathe on her own, we clung to a tiny bit of hope that she would."
